True, I think that they should just burn down all the public schools and some private universities and stop funding them. Home schooling is the way to go. I was homeschooled. For one year i tried public school and that has messed me up. I went back homeschooling. I am now 18 years old, finished my first year at college and am a investor. I love my parents, even though we sometimes argue. I think we should reform this country from the ground up instead of starting at health care and such.

you forgot the largest part, homeschoolers pay taxes for public schools even though their children are not in a public school.

Home schooling Free it is not free. There are texts that need to perched or rented. Lesson plans to be made, so the education will flow some what. Testing to make sure the student is learning at grad or above, DEPENDING on how bad the local school system is.

The schooling must meet or exceed pubic school so that the kid can get into college at the end of home schooling. It is all doable. Home schooling will need access to; chemistry lab, physic lab, biology labs geology labs, Computer labs.

besides kids are by nature immature ignorant and chemically imbalanced it's the nature of growing up and by learning from your mistakes and being taught along the way that is how u get through it all u don't need a "teacher" u just need people around u who care and can teach like family friends and mentors now I'm not saying ban teachers but this nation wide education system is sick and getting sicker "to each there Owen" the more ways someone can get education the better diversity is the key

all I'm saying is how did kids learn 100 years ago when they could think on there Owen and good parenting teaches expression teachers don't at least I have not seen the class on expression besides if a kid says I hate u mom/dad and did not learn any thing that day I see no difference than him saying I hate u teacher and not learn any thing that day
