Jeff Loomis has reached the absolute zenith of metal guitar playing and more importantly, metal composition. This man's solos are milestones in the history of all music, regardless of genre. his transitions from dissonance to the melodic define transcendental. i am grateful to be alive in the same time as this demigod. i sincerely hope he doesn't fade into obscurity like so many before him
