After being raped by a stranger, a young ultra-orthodox woman awaits a Rabbinical decision about whether or not her husband should divorce her. Jewish law states that "If the wife of a Cohen (descendant of a priest) is raped, she is forbidden to her husband."
Cohen's Wife is a provocative modern day portrait of a couple torn between religious law and marital devotion.
WOW this is antisemitism mamish. plus, nowadays Kohanim are not considered real Kohanim so he would be permitted to his wife according to many poskim.

Why are movies that are showing Jewish Religious life always so gloomy and depressiv? The filmmakers have no idea what Jewish life really is. Instead of wasting lots of energy on making films that destore reality they should better go and study Torah to understand Halacha correctly.
