  • A 2008 penny on a '77 gun? I don't know man, I don't think it was made for a sandwich coin. Should have gone with an old pure copper one as the manufacturer intended! LOL. Great video. Dad and I each have one, but (and I'm ashamed to say this) we never broke either one down that far simply because we didn't know how. Now I have a project for Saturday. Thanks!!

  • @stiffy515 I think -most- people that own these don't give a second thought to cleaning them. :) You will be surprised at how much gunk is in there once you get it open.

  • Fuck yes dude you are my saviour thanks man! And thanks again

  • @godackgudalach1 Thanks for the comment. Glad I could help. :)

  • Thanks! my eightyear old boy inherited one from his great grandfather(gone now) and its jamming up on us. a good cleaning is the answer! just trying to raise good kids the old fashion way!

  • @MrVictor4516 That's how kids need to be raised. :) You'll be amazed at all the grit and dirt these guns pick up over the years. Good luck.

  • You are my hero!! I took apart my gun and couldn't figure out how to put it back together until I watched your video

  • Excellent vid. Short and to the point. Greatly help me disassemble and clean the 552 I just bought. Thanks man!

  • @rjsilvers Just shot it full of more gunk yeasterday. Ran flawlessly as always. Will be tearing it down tonight. Thanks!

  • Good job ~ some fill lighting might have helped due to the lighter background.

  • Thank you for this nice video! I have an instruction manual for maintenance, but this is much simpler and easier way

  • Nice job, bud - I had very little idea how to start (the detent pins looked like the place, but I hate screwing with those unless I know that's what they're for). You did a very professional and thorough video. I commend you.
