Introduced in 1916 by George Robey and Violet Loraine. They also recorded it. Recorded and sung by many artists such as Perry Como, Doris Day, Rudy Vallee and Malcolm Vaughan. This version was recorded around 1917. Written by Clifford Grey and Nat D. Ayer.

  • Can anyone tell what the last two lines of the verse is? Mary doesn't sing the last two lines in "Downton Abbey. Itt's a sweet and enjoyable song.
