Synopsis :
Half-Life 2 presents an Earth enslaved by a multidimensional empire, the Combine. The game is set in and around the fictional Eastern European City 17, a number of years after the events of Half-Life. During Half-Life, the scientists at the Black Mesa Research Facility inadvertently opened portals to an alien world. In the period between Half-Life and its sequel, the portals attracted the attention of the Combine. The Combine took over Earth quickly in the "Seven Hour War", and enslaved the remaining humans into former cities, using an energy field to subdue the ability for humans to procreate. City 17 became the central point for the Combine, where they constructed their gigantic Citadel, and where Dr. Wallace Breen, the human representative that negotiated the end of the Combine war and now City 17's supervisor, has set up his office. A small human resistance group remains underground and hidden from the Combine's troops.

Peu après les évènements de Black Mesa survenus dans Half-Life, le Cartel, une puissante organisation extraterrestre, a pris le contrôle de la Terre au cours d'une guerre éclair connue sous le nom de Guerre des Sept Heures. Très vite, le Cartel a commencé a adapter et exploiter les ressources de la Terre. Les humains ont été parqués dans des cités comme Cité 17, sous la surveillance étroite de la Protection Civile, une milice ultra-répressive constituée de soldats transhumains, fruits du croisement entre l'organisme humain et la technologie du Cartel. L'ancien administrateur de Black Mesa, le Docteur Wallace Breen, a été déclaré représentant de l'humanité qu'il dirige depuis son bureau au sommet de la Citadelle, une gigantesque structure au centre de Cité 17.
Le Cartel ayant utilisé Xen comme portail pour son invasion, toutes les créatures de Xen ont été déportées sur la Terre avec eux. L'espèce dominante de Xen, les Vortigaunts, ont été réduit à l'esclavage avec les humains tandis que les espèces moins évoluées se sont implantées dans l'écosystème terrestre et anéanti la majorité de la faune déjà existante. En dehors des Cités, le reste de la Terre est envahie par ces créatures hostiles.
Pour éviter toute résistance, Breen a mis en place une solide dictature qui tient en différents points : * une propagande omniprésente : les discours de Breen sont diffusés sur des écrans géants disposés partout dans la rue et les bâtiments publics. L'écrasante présence de la Citadelle reste la représentation suprême de la domination de Breen. * une répression forte : tout opposant ou considéré comme tel est puni par la privation et par la force. Les cas extrêmes sont envoyés dans la terrible prison de Nova Prospekt pour être torturé, interrogé et transformé en Stalker. * une privation totale : un dispositif spécial empêche les êtres humains de se reproduire en supprimant leur cycle de reproduction. Le rationnement strict de la nourriture permet une emprise totale sur la population.
Chapter 1 : - Point Insertion :
Once Gordon disembarks the train, he eventually meets up with his old friend and co-worker from Black Mesa, Barney Calhoun, who has infiltrated the Civil Protection in support of the fledging resistance movement. Barney instructs Gordon to make his way to Doctor Isaac Kleiner's lab, but along the way, Civil Protection detects Gordon and he is put to flight. Surrounded and eventually stunned by the Civil Protection, Gordon is rescued by Alyx Vance, the daughter of Doctor Eli Vance.
Chapter 2 : - A Red Letter Day :
After rescuing Gordon from the Civil Protection, Alyx Vance brings Gordon to Doctor Kleiner's lab. After Gordon is outfitted with his upgraded H.E.V. suit, Doctor Kleiner attempts to teleport Alyx and Gordon to Black Mesa East, where Alyx's father is waiting. Although Alyx makes it to Black Mesa East, Doctor Kleiner's pet headcrab Lamarr pulls off a crucial wiring as she falls from a ventilation shaft, when Gordon is in the process of being teleported. The interruption leads to a chaotic sequence in which Gordon is briefly transported to, in addition to other locations, the office of Doctor Breen at the Combine Citadel. He eventually ends up outside Kleiner's lab, where Barney gives Gordon his old crowbar. The Citadel is on high alert for Gordon, and Barney tells him to take the canals to get to Eli's lab.

This looks pretty cool, how did you play Half life 2 in 3D? The head crabs scare the shit out of me when it isn't 3D! lol.

download the IZ3D driver it works on every games ,you can active or desactive it easily
very simple to use , you just need 3D glasses red and blue , this is old 3D but effective and no need 120 hz screen or something else
