With a climbing rope on the ground, make a butterfly coil by starting with both ends in one hand, throw the rope behind the neck and over the shoulders, and then go back and forth making long coils on each side of the body. Avoid putting kinks and knots in climbing rope with help from a certified rock climbing instructor in this free video on butterfly coiling a climbing rope.
