You're well skilled karateka and very brave that you have had a courage to show it to the other people. Keep going, there is always something to improve.

Thank you for your kind explanation. All what I said, it's only mine opinion and for help purposes only.
1. Soto uchi, gedan barai and uraken uchi combination look like you want to show it only, for me there wasn't enough power, speed and spirit. (But maybe that's because your camcorder)
2.The power of gayku zuki in fudo dachi never will be as the same as zenkutsu dachi
3.Please look again for 18th sec. of your clip - yoko geri keage - toes go up, but as you said maybe "it's the clip" only

Hi there.
Very nice dojo:) Well skilled and fit instructor.
First time when I showed your performance I said myself "nice legs techniques".
Then I saw it once more and
If I can, there is some improvement which must be done:
1.To much kime when you do hands techniques
2.Uraken uchi-to short, not finished properly
3.Gyaku zuki-how is it possible to do gyaku zuki with bend knee and your knee goes outside?
4.To short mae geri, not finished
5.Yoko geri, kiba dachi - toes goes up. Oss!

3 - The gyaku zuki is performed in a relaxed Fudo Dachi, for a more kumite feel to the combination as opposed to a fixed Zenkutsu Dachi which limits movements, power is just the same.
4 - Maigeri should be shourtened when kicking mid air due to repetative snapping of the joints
5 - Toe's do not go up, the kick is performed with side of the foot but it does look like they go up in the clip.
Thanks for your comments thought, I took a good look to make sure. All helps. Oss!

Hi, thanks for your comment, but let me reply to that as, respectfully, I don't agree
1 - The Uraken Uchi is finished with targeting to where oponent is, if you mean that the arm is bent, this is don't on purpose to gain a connection with o hara and kime, my Uraken's should gain the same power regardless of bent or straight.
