A campaign of violence against Christians has seen thousands flee the country since 2003.




Many of those who remain have complained of intimidation and persecution.

But in some parts of Iraq, muslims are now choosing to become christians.

Al Jazeera's Omar Al Saleh reports from Irbil in Northern Iraq.

@sabirlivp Hi Sabir. Let me comment about your comments. While we christians love to help people who is suffering regardless the race and religion, in any ways, you cannot purchase the heart and mind of the individual. You cannot pay someone in order to become christian. to be TRUE Christian this means to have Faith and Love for Lord Jesus. Salvation is priceless. We cannot pay someone to be saved. I am sure the person who told you that, has completly missundesrtood what he has been told.

@KhalidJanahi97 Dear Khalid is not about praying many times that Gd will listen your prayers. Gd requires a PURE heart, forgiveness to your brother and no hate. Otherwise your prayers will be detestable to Gd. Lord Jesus taught us to pray alone in our rooms, closed and not to be seen by men. And to be listened, we needTo forgive others sins so we can be forgiven. Gd doesnot want syncronization of millions of people in a single line and at the same time. Gd wants to be worshipped in TRUE.

@KhalidJanahi97 True BORN AGAIN christians are saved and we dont lose our salvation. Sin is seen as something repugnant to us. If a Born again christian keep sinning in purpose there is no atonement for the sins anymore, and the fake christian sins against Gd. But this is very rare. Once a christian is saved, is saved forever. Noone can take out of Jesus hands. Jesus is not only a prophet. The Son of Gd, and lately Gd who came in human form to dwell among men. Jesus love you.

@KhalidJanahi97 Hi Khalid. Christianity mentions 2 states for men: "Spiritually death" and "Born again". The People who born again, accepts Jesus as his savior. The dead of Jesus is an atonement for our sins. Once we accpet Jesus and get baptized we invite the HolY SPIRIT to live in our hearts, mind and body. This way the "OLD PERSON" dies with our sins and we became TEMPLE OF GD. This is an special relation to JEsus.NEXT

these're some peopl who didn't have faith befor becoming christain, they're promised 2 b givn a lot of money & brought 2 USA & European countries.1 of them named Ari from Ranya came 2 me & said that there's a deal you cn becom chrstain get money, find urself in a european contry..I simply replied tht I'm diffrnet frm him, for I hav faith in Islam which he hadn't before converting, & I also told him I'm far more intellectual 2 b decieved by people who r astrayed and are fallowing a false religion

@edadan2009 God has no son.If God loves sons y he just chose Jesus(pbuh) while mohammed(pbuh) is the last prophet and the best and prophet of prophets ?

If Jesus died for our sins then I can do badthings and i get sins then Jesus said I died for your sins so I will keep on doing bad things and will go to heaven.

Ur religion is just to believe in few prophets while our religion in all prophets and we dont differentiate.

My brother plz read the Holy Quran.

@edadan2009 No i read the Quran and believed it.I should make a good works and help other ppl not just to make them feel im the honest man im and im im.....NO i should help someone towards allah.Those who converts to Christians we dont call them Muslims coz they were not praying and like to do bad things that Islam had forbidden it.Jesus(pbuh) is just a normal prophet not a God nor Son of God.Jesus(pbuh) will come one day and break the Cross and out the jzya and he will say he is a Muslim.
