The contrasts between loud and soft passage as well as being much lighter and humorously(do to the fact it's not just forte throughout the movement) played can be seen here on Youtube by Michael Collins who was chosen by Classical FM Magazine in last july edition as the top choice clarinetist. Highly recommend that version.
how could he be too loud if it says fortissimo. On the piece. And also the tempo is usually played faster due to that most soloists like this piece played quicker
A lot of the other movements of the sonata are much more soft and quiet. This last movement is kind of like the fast and loud finale.

Una gran interpretación de esta magnífica sonata del gran maestro Francés

but it does not say fortissimo throughout the whole movement. listen to 1:25 again. i'd like it a bit more mysterious.

the piece needs more quiet passages. in my opinion a bit to loud and fast. but technical brilliant.
