Wish you could post "Home Grown Girl" from the WW S/T album. I asked someone else & he either forgot about it or had better things to do w/his time. I'm told that was the single that almost cracked the Billboard pop singles chart the yr it came out. This band should've gone to greater heights. Totally overlooked by AOR radio & the rock audience. Just don't know why?
Can't say i go a bundle on their lyric matter [apart from It's So Nice To Be Stoned], but their material shows a real songwriting nous and execution, on both albums.
Pitching themselves onto the far-right bandwagon wouldn't have helped their cause, especially with the aforementioned So Nice To Be Stoned...but you have to admire their music nonetheless.
I saw them at the NG Armory in Ft Myers in '75 with Dr John and a band called Early Gray. It s still one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Too bad Rod and Buddy are no longer with us. I heard Rod started a band called Star Child later on. Did anyone see them?
Oh man do I love White Witch! I had this album when it came out...I've had it on cd for about 15 years now, gonna get the 2nd on cd soon!

@rectalghandi I am not worthy enough to have read your recollection of such a great rock show!

@x98charlie Rod who? Or were you referring to singer Ronn Goedert?
Also FYI WW had 2 members named Buddy. Richardson & Pendergrass. Which one is now the late?

How far we have fallen. White witch was a moderately successful band in the seventies. They are better than anyone I have heard in years.

I saw them live in 1973. That sound at 1:47 is a violin bow on a guitar. This was a great group to hear live...Brings back great memories.
