Do you guys have a lot of money in the bank or something? How can you afford that stuff while just hiking around unless you are on vacation or something? Seriously. ? :o) I want to know because I WANT TO DO IT TOOOOO

I had a great job before the hike and saved up $5000. I set out wanting to spend it all....and I did. For the most part I stayed in Hostels...but when I was in a nice town or really beat up, I went all out and got hotel or B&B rooms (Like here in Damascus). Believe it or not, some people spend well over !0,000 on their AT hikes. If you camp/shelter every night, you could probably do it for under $2000.

Well I am glad you made it out successfully and without any harm. What you did was dangerous, needless to say. If our economy collapses, more than likely, people be looked at like a pathfinder. Good luck in your Masters, I am trying for my associates for criminal justice/intelligence gathering. I plan to track humans. :o)
