Thought I would share this milestone with you. I gave $4300 in '92 and was thinking I may have given too much for a 99K mile vehicle. This truck has made a believer out of me. I haven't babied the truck at all. I use it, abuse it if I need and it just keeps on going. It is all stock, 22R w/4speed manual tranny, and A/C. I added the light bar after I hit the deer last year(only bent the bumper in). The bumper is gone now after I hit two wild hogs. I have gotten more than my monies worth out of this truck.

  • Dude Nice Truck!

    What's the song/band?

  • "Just Got Paid" by ZZ Top. One of the greatest riffs ever in a song.

  • This truck has 50K more and then some I feel like. I have done no body repair at all other that beating the bumper back into form after the deer. The bumper is gone now after the two hogs. The lights on front are not for show, they are for survival!! I am really amazed at how tough this truck is!! It is my first of 7 Toyota purchases since '92. Both times hitting the deer and the hogs, I thought I totaled it for sure, only to find out that it just needed bumper repair and a front end alignment.

  • my '86 4runner with the 22re has 360k on a rebuilt motor and OE tranny!

  • What bumper is that exactly ?

  • I just bought a 1986, with 90k, off a 89 year old man, mine has the r22, with air, and xcab. its 2wd. I paid 2400, it looks brand new. If i get half the miles you guys get, it will be the best 2400 ive spent.

  • Just broken in ;>)

Time to replace the timing chain and guides if it hasn't been done yet.

  • @snipedroach actually you should give Chevy some respect, they are the longest lasting american car, I see many Chevys make it to 250K

  • @AusTex789 300,000 miles is great. But let me know when you join the 600,000 mile club. My 92 PU has the original motor and never rebuilt. But has received a manual transmission about 50,000 miles ago. Lets see Chevy's do this. Toyota's rock out with there c0cK 0ut.

  • man that looks like a 86 i got one jus like it

  • looks like oregon, on account of the double yellows

  • I'm close to 250k in mine. its got 234k now in my 86 4runner
