The festival of Dussehra was celebrated across the country with enthusiasm and gaiety on Monday. The effigies of Ravana were burnt to symbolise good's victory over evil. The occasion marks the triumph of Lord Ram and defeat of Ravana, who it is believed had 10 faces, each representing the 10 evil facets of his character. There has been many mysteries about Ravana, like that he had many more 'Pushpak Viman'. Watch Ravana's Seven Mysteries to find out more.

  • @BBandana2012 yeah man.. its now really hard to re-structure it, we have been deeply effected... If U take distance between where buddhas places are, its stupidly far away, I dont know why cant these people still understand those are just what Ashok have mentioned to worsthip, but not real places.

  • @Dilanthaonline not just your history our Nepals history and all neighbours history too. just like this one, they are still saying that buddha was born in india . and spreading this message to world.like wise your wisdom king Ravan become victim of hinduism...

  • @devsahan i believe you are true mr devsahan including hindus believe that ravan is person with wisdom. Ramayana Lord Rama himself accepted Ravana as wise and knowledgeable. While Ravana was on the death bed, Rama asked Lakshmana to go to Ravana and take his blessings. When Lakhshmana showed a negative attitude, Rama insisted him to forget Ravana's evil deeds and stated that Ravana is wise and educated.and if you see your society higly educated people hardly turns bad or evil.

  • India always destroyed Sri lanka's great history.. still they do.. more than Europians, Indian stupid hindunism god concept killed buddhism and becase of they finger the sri Lanka great history, Sri Lanka lost the real truth, and great Kind ravan became evil king becase of stupid stories like ramayan..

  • in Hindu literature Ravana is portrayed as an Evil king.. but Ravana was truly a great king... Actually Sitha was a Sibling of Ravana... even in Ramayana it says that Sitha was given by gods... the story fails to give proof of Sithas Parents..
