@rickypro01 They're not intended to be a human-aggressive breed, and a pit bull who meets the standard for size is usually a bit small to be effective in Schutzhund. There is no "official" size, at least in the UKC, but 30-60# is what you'd see competing in an athletic event- although dogs at the larger end of the scale could work.

@StormFetus Scenario what if you were walking down the street jumpin a skippin like most little kids do. When around the corning comes a jogger with his american pitbull terrier. What do you do? Lost for words let me help you. You would more than likely cross the road avoiding eye contact, or turn around with your tail tucked between your legs(figurtively speaking of course) and high tale it back to the rock you crawled out from. Am I good or what...I know hold the applause please.

@rickypro01 I had to do more research on that and I found this:
howardsworkingapbts.20fr(.)com
So it does look like they have been successful with the right trainers.

@GreenFrumundaCheese And how did they fare? Why are they not ideally preferred for it?
-
@rickypro01 From what I understand, it has been done but it isn't a preferred breed for schutzhund.
-
Do pitbulls participate in schutzhund?

@xWolfHauntx Main stream media has made it look like these are training acts for dog fighting. And not just news but look at 90's hip hop videos, especially DMX. Now as far as your argument with JRT and Mastiffs two thing, 1) they don't have a bad rap that we are fighting and, 2) I have heard dog fighters use this same argument as to why fighting should be legal. Exact same argument. Food for thought. Again fight however you see fit. And thank you for fighting

this is one of the best videos ive seen about Pitbulls. They are amazing dogs and deserve to be treated as such. There is no such thing as a 'bad dog' just bad owners.
