Classic Game Room HD - LAST BATTLE for Sega Genesis review

Classic Game Room HD reviews LAST BATTLE for Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive). This is an earlier Genesis action game from 1989 and has many similarities to Altered Beast (and shares some music with Golden Axe). You play as Aarzak (pronounced Are-zak) and fight your way through 2-D side scrolling levels full of mindless enemies who attack you with knives and axes. Last Battle may not be the most exciting game on the Genesis but the packaging is cool and the writing is hilarious. Level Aarzak up and increase his health and defense. Fight end bosses that move back and forth and check out some bland parallax scrolling in the backgrounds. Yet another game destroyed by localizing, in the Jap Version, enemies explode after each hit in a bloody mess, ala the reason for them just flying off the screen in the American version.

This is "Fist of the North Star" - they destroyed the story and took the blood out.. I got this recently and it has gone in my "Kenshiro Corner".. I don't know why they changed stuff like this - I mean "Aarzak"?!?

Pretty dull review...and a guy that's not really funny trying to be funny. Of course, I came in here mostly to see how this game is, so it's not like I plan to follow anyways. But oh well. Could be been interesting.

@pwninator345 Yes... They just changed the names & look of the characters for the West, because Fist of The North Star wasn't as big here back then.
