Toledo scored first, but FIU tied it up with a 61 yard td on 3rd and 18 making the score 7-7 , toledo scored again to make it 14-7 at the end of the first. FIU hit the post on a long field goal and the halftime score was 14-7. Toledo missed a fg to begin the third and FIU then threw an interception in Toledo territory. Toledo's morgan williams and austin dantin were injured in the third quarter and did not return. FIU scored to tie the game 14-14 to start the fourth quarter. Toledo missed a 36 yard field goal, and FIU got the ball with 2:20 left in the game and was able to kick a 42 yard field goal with 1:10 left in the game. Final Score 17-14.
