@Rockrgrl4 Lol its fine with me i jsut wanted to know abotu the story ive heard many stories from greek mythology just never found out about Aracnia i do appricate the info btw you look great in that pic

@QueenGwynevere Athena recognized Aracnia's talent and got jealous, but not only that-she was furious that Aracnia had the gall to weave into her tapestry such images. So, Athena changed Aracnia into a spider, which is why the spider exists today-spiders are decendants of Aracnia. There are several little stories like this in Greek mythology. :P Yeah, i know...i'm a huge nerd. xD Actually, i'm in Greek Mythology this semester and we just went over this story. ;D

@QueenGwynevere Aracnia is a mortal woman in Greek mythology. She was young and a very talented weaver (like think rugs, quilts, etc.). She would brag about how great she was, and Athena (the Goddess of wisdom, virginity, and crafts) found out about her bragging. Athena challenged Aracnia: whoever could make the best tapestry won. Aracnia wove into her tapestry images of the Gods and Godesses infidelities (which is a BIG no-no). Athena wove i think images of their greatness. When they were done,
