  • great tool! now what about 3 layers and a 4th layer being old cedar????

  • Thanks. When the shingles are very brittle, you can tear off both layer at the same time, otherwise you can do multiples passes. Regarding the cedar, we didn't try it yet.

  • Not sure I want one for a high pitch roof, walking backwards and possible bad wood underneath. Looks like it will work great for up to about a 4/12 pitch but some of those northern tier snow load roofs this just isnt gonna do it - too steep. Otherwise it looks like a pretty cool tool, maybe a wider version would work as well.

  • You have to be careful for bad wood even if you walk forwards, sideways or backwards. The machine stops immediately when you let go the throttle.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh MAN! English plz .

That thing is the coolest tear off tool I've ever seen. Send me a link how to get it!!! :)

  • Hi brotherrz,

We are currently working on the video for the English translation.

Send me a email so i can send you back the brochure in English at:

    shingles''at sign''shinglespeeler''dot''net

  • In the previous comment, i had to write ''at sign'' and ''dot'' in my email adress instead of the real sign because for some reasons i was not able to publish my comment.

  • ¿en englais, por favfuckingor?

  • all those 'great' tool are invented for 3/12 to 6/12 about 10ft high, good luck trying to get one of those machines on a 8/12 and steeper on a building 2 or 3 floors high, dealing with the FAS and two people around it will make the job almost imposible to get it done, all the swing situation and stuff like that . on top of deal with WCB or OSHA depending in what you would be, no thanks

  • Aww man, I'll soon be out of a job!

  • i want to see that thing in action on a 12/12

  • I think A&S Roofing's gonna have to buy that. Where would Tom have to go to buy one of these bad boys?

  • good for older board homes....Doesn`t seem to practical for a one layer plywood that is ripping nice.

  • Wow, I have been in this business for 18 years and it is rare to get me to say that. Wow, great product! How can I get one?
