http://childreninjail.com/ - WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S COURT, OCT. 30, 2007. Scott Medlock, an attorney with the Texas Civil Rights Project, discusses today's special session and the commissioners' 5-0 vote to amend and continue their contract with the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) to manage the T. Don Hutto family detention center. Mr. Medlock expresses his regret that the county commissioners have not considered the county's legal liability more seriously, and he states, "I would not be surprised to see lawsuits related to violations of detainees' civil rights in the near future."
