  • Fuck i love boston!

  • Lmao. Love Departed and The Town.

  • I live really close to Boston (30-45 minute drive), and all of these just sound like normal voices to me, lol.

  • I love northeastern accents period. I'm from new york but I've a special love for Bostonians and people from new jersey... Nobody can be us -3

  • @kennethhuebsch

holy fuckin' shit, are there that many fuckin morons on this site, can't take a fuckin' cunt hair to fuckin' Google shit???? Go fuck yourself...

  • People would fuck themselves if they could.

  • I live in Waltham, work in Southie, and go to school in Cambridge. I've also lived in Framingham, Newton, Back Bay, Allston, Brighton, and Arlington . . . people talk like illiterates all over the place out here (easy, it was a joke, I love Bostonians)

  • i live in fitchburg....tons of people have the accent...half the state has the accent...to argue that is just fucking stupid.......

  • @snatale1 Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Watertown, & a dozen more cities bordering Boston would fit snuggly into one or two NYC Burroughs. So the accent goes a bit farther than you think but I do agree with your premise that the thick Boston accent doesn't travel as far as some people believe. I contend that it is pervasive in 2.5 million people in the Greater Boston area, not just the 600,000 of Boston Proper as you stated.
