One can therefore easily see that religion is "the source of terrorism".....The Abrahamic religions all have an "inherent reliance" on terrorism....particularly Christianity and Islam..
The propostion to "be saved...or else"...is vulgar, disgusting, violence-based, immoral, unethical ....and incredibly evil.
The proposition that one either accepts the edicts of a tyrrant or suffers the eternal torture of being burned alive is nothing more than a "terroristic threat". A choice would be for grandma to offer hamburgers, pizza or fried chicken for dinner. That would be a reasonable choice. The idea of Heaven or Hell is no different from a terrorist putting a gun to someone's head and saying, "You either believe my mantra or get your brains blown out.. No reasonable person accepts that as a choice.
have any of you idiots ever heard the ol saying , '' You make your bed you lie in it.'' the idiots know who they are i promise ya..dont blame anyone but yourself..see ya, wouldnt wanna be ya..
Brian says "living in fear of that God (implying an evil tyrant". The Christian story is about God coming to live among us as a human, to die and take the punishment we deserve because we rejected God (and still do). Yet God instead of destroying us and giving up on his creation - comes to make peace on the cross and says believe in this act of history and you are mine eternally. Anyone who sincerely believes will live to please this loving and generous Saviour and our Creator.
@hope1029384756 Thank you. According to evangelical Christianity, several of my deceased loved ones are in Hell already for not believing the Gospel. So, how enjoyable would Heaven be for me, knowing that my loved ones are being burned in agony?
Haha i think the red head got just a tad crazy.... God isn't the tyrannical one.... the believers that made him up are. God only appears to be evil because only an evil thought can create such an idea. Rationally, even somewhat empirically, we cannot devise that god exists or doesn't. there is no way to know, thus those who blindly follow with their lives are free to waste the only gift they have been given by coincident, a gift that the law of Darwin would, and maybe soon, take away.
