I like this game way more than the 7th guest. The plot I can deal with, it's a bit weird but then again the franchise has always been a bit odd, and the acting is pretty bad (though better than in the 7th guest). But I like the puzzles more, and I still think the graphical detailing of the mansion is brilliant, granted it's outdated but I still think the visuals in this game are pretty swish.

@skittlesaretasty as much as i appreciate that, you really aren't giving this game the credit it deserves. Most people are just put off by the shitty acting and bad story, which was characteristic of a lot of games during this time.

I love live action games, but your right. I think if youre going to make a LA game, get some good actors. Thats why I dont like this game.

@skittlesaretasty Well if you look into the history of Trilobyte, they actually didn't have the budget for good actors. They made a shitload of money with 7th Guest, but their future plans and re-vamping of some of their projects concurrent with the 11th hour development, they had a lot of financial issues and ran out of money. 11th Hour didn't do very well, and they went under shortly after. 7th Guest was a good game, but the acting was still pretty sub-par.

@skittlesaretasty i dont remember if they did because of this game or the other one they planned, but it was shortly after that. Clandestiny was their only other title, to my knowledge.
