I once spent three nights in a living van outside Hereford Cathedral. We took a wrong turning and a nice lady who had just unlocked the gate for her own car innocently thought we were part of a fund raising event and let us through. What a laugh when the Cathedral Clergy eventually realised we were travellers busking in the town. The driver pretended we had broken down and the police and gardeners pushed us out while the driver kept his foot lightly on the brake. Heave! Bump start! Vroooom!
