  • look who's talking, MCcain is as responsible as Bush for sending jobs offshore. He gives tax break to rich to take jobs offshore for more profit. He is not for middle class but few percent rich. with his policy, we will lose more jobs, lose invention edge, lose being as s supprior country. Vote for Obama and change this trend.

  • See how McCain acts under pressure:

    google "Forrestal Fire".

Learn the truth about McCain, it isn't pretty I warn you.

  • This stupid old man has no idea what he's talking about. Wish grampa would just go fishing ...

  • People who have lost their jobs don't need to be told to get job training. They figured out a long time ago that their jobs are not coming back, and they are retraining every chance they get. But Walmart jobs don't bring a lot of bread to the table.

Perhaps it is Mc'Cain who needs some retraining on the realities of the global economy.

  • Mc'Cain is boldly preaching the same old, tired free-market deregulation dogma. It's the Bush line, which has put America in the terrible spot we're in today.

Mc'Cain is no maverick: he's a throwback, and more of the same poison that's been killing America (and Americans, and Iraqis for seven years.

  • Mc'Cain proposed a nonsensical solution to suspending the federal excise tax on gas during the peak-travel summer months. Hillary seconded his motion and spiced it up with a proposal to tax windfall profits of oil comapanies to make up for the lost gas-tax revenues.

Obama refuses to play along with what he has called a gas-tax "scheme" because he knows that If you lower the price of gas without increasing the supply, it will only raise demand and thus boost prices.

  • The jobless people are retraining every chance they get. They don't need to be told to get retraining.

Perhaps it is Mc'Cain who needs some retraining on the realities of the global economy. Jean Lecuyer, LA

  • Amen.

  • Bill Gates wants Visa requirements lightened so skilled workers can come into the country. Too many people with and skills and education in this country are being past up. People get jobs who are functionally illiterate. They know they can pay these people a salary at the bottom of the heap educated workers are phased out. Atlanta hired a bunch of Hurricane Katrina people-people who did not work any way in New Orleans and now Atlanta regrets that.

  • All the jobs in Michigan wouldn't have been lost if it weren't for senators and congressmen like McCain who support all the one sided trade agreements and refuse to do anything about the unfair trade practices of countries like Japan, China, and Korea.
