Rick Staggenborg is my uncle. I am sad to see this video and hope to God he gets back in his right mind. I also hope the idiot that keeps saying "fascist,bully,fascist,bully" has a brain aneurysm and can't act like a fool any longer. I have no clue what the ultimate goal here was, but I wish he would have obeyed the law and not have tried to grandstand his immoral progressive views.

@cougar302b ..hello Thanks for commenting,. Rick was not out of line. He stopped by the Anti Torture Protest & in support was only handing out flyers. Security were rude & agressive. They grabbed him for no reason & wrestled him to the ground. The man yelling bully faschist was refering to the guards actions. He was correct in calling them that. IMO your uncle is a great man who is working for peace & justice against a system that is killing & torturing people all over the world. He did no wrong

What exactly was the goal for the Doctor here at the steps of this courthouse? if it was to be arrested, then mission accomplished... However, I would think that with the educational requirments needed to become a Doctor, a person might have a better plan. How about renting space in the local paper or on highway billboards illustrating your viewpoint to gather support for your position? I dont beleive getting a YOUTUBE video showing the handcuff two-step exactly shows your position!

Cant speak for for the doc.. But I think he was handing out flyer's and talking to the guy on the steps, when he was approached by the Two guards. And to "Rent a space" it probably cost hundreds of dollars...youtube works and is free.. heck and besides.. I am documenting what is going on with this protest vigil ..and (people just like you) are noticing that something is "afoot" .. We are trying to get the publics attention on the "Torture Judge being removed and prosecuted" for his "dirty deeds"

Looks to me like the heavy set U.S. marshal provoked the doctor's response, by invading his personal space and the way he talked to him. So the doctor gets angry, yells at the marshal, and there you have it. Marshal gets pissed and bingo, this becomes an arrest situation. If the marshal had acted with more respect and restraint, this may never have happened.

At 1:10 the marshal made a mistake by grabbing the doc. When addressing torturers there will be all kinds of obstacles that will get in the way" to prevent the truth and to stifle the demand for accountability and justice, (including people who belittle others) It was the marshal who first put his hands on the doc... thats what I call harassment.

Seems to me that this "Good Doctor" was asking to get arrested. This is exactly the behavior I would not want to see in my clinical provider, unless of course i am looking for a Proctologist. Then i guess his actions are fitting! Maybe the Doctor can go and harrass some more elderly gentlemen at a retirment home.
