This video is not a showcase of my playing. It's to show the Schecter Hellraiser and the Mesa and their tone. My playing is sloppy at best and there are most definitely better players out there. Comments that are negative will be deleted. I don't need to hear how much better you think you are than me or the world so STFU. If you, however, have constructive comments about my playing, I'll gladly leave them on.

Some of you have asked for the tab for the riff I play in the second cut. Here it is:

5/4
e|-----------------------------------------------------------|
b|-----------------------------------------------------------|
g|-----------------------------------------------------------|
d|-----------------------------------------------------------|
a|----0-00---------------3--5----------------------------|
d|----0 00--2 0-3-00-------6-5-3---------------------|

counted like this:
1 and a 2 and three and a 4 e and a five

This is my new Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR through my Mesaboogie Dual Rectifier and a Marshall 4x12 1960.

Just some quick clips of me playing and trying to do sweeps which I just learned a few months ago.

Guitar: Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR
Amp: MesaBoogie Dual Rectifier
Speakers: Marshall 4x12 1960 cab
Strings: D'Addario XL 12-54

  • Did you have the guitar in drop C#? For some reason i can't seem to find a way to put my Schecter Floyd Rose down to drop c or the strings just sound like its bangin on the fret board where it wont make the sounds come out. And it does have a tunning lock and and a whammy bar like yours.

  • @guitarxguy I believe this was in drop D. I'm using .12 gauge strings in this vid and have 4 springs in the back with the screws almost as tight as they will go to get the bridge to set level.

  • Wow dude you fail at sweeping

  • @MrPublic7enemy Some people should have been swallowed instead of born.

  • @m3at um, can i give you a tip dude, im not trying to be rude or arogant, but try slowing down your sweeps a bit, and practice palm muting more, thats why you sounds a bit off when you sweep, because you have the speed, but you lack a bit of accuracy and technique. Again please dont take this negatively im just trying to help you improve your guitar playing, feel free to PM me if you need any help

  • @alvarg No offense taken! This video is 4 years old. I'm a little better now. Thanks for the tips!

  • @m3at Why do you care what other people think anyway?

  • @alvarg yeah I know. apperently because stated my opinion i shouldnt have been born. a little bit harsh but...

  • @MrPublic7enemy woah, yea, i just watched the last 20 seconds and yea he is kinda bad at sweeping, probably cos hes like playing faster then his confort zone, which doesn't make u look like a good guitarist. In fact trying to play above your skill level actually makes you seem like your a crap guitarist because you make alot of mistakes

and this guitar is awesome i have 1, without the floyde rose, because i hate tremolos really good for sweaps... if you can do them like me xD

  • I'm getting me one of these

  • good sound friend!!
