@Dallasdeckard, I watch it for entertainment value. I don't care if it conforms to the writer.

@HAZIDEAD Rathbone and Bruce were fun, but they weren't accurate to Doyle's creation. Watson was never a bungling fool in the canon. The Granada productions were much closer to the original, though Brett did take liberties. However, Hardwicke and Burke's Watson was very close to the original and gave Watson back his dignity, stolen by a well-meaning Bruce.
