This was recorded today, only 4 days after a recent vocal cord surgery. I had met Tommy this past summer and played this for him. He is the most delightful, patient person on earth and such an excellent teacher. He gave me some pointers on my playing and I hope that I've lived up to his lessons!

  • Great work! Learning it now and this video helps :-)

  • @KRTFlanigan Thanks for the feedback! Hope it helps! Let me know if you need a specific chord! Happy holidays! Cheers, BB

  • Nice job bravo!. Now show us "The Tall Fiddler" :)

  • @acoustic61 Thanks so much! I'll have to include myself in that "show us" Tall Fiddler!! Closest I get to something fast of Tommy's is Blue Moon and Angelina! No flat picking for this old folkie! I appreciate your good words though!! Cheers, BB

  • Hi, Bunny. Sorry for the delay. I hope this message finds you in only the best of health and happiness. No, I have no postings. As far as being able to is concerned, my computer savvy is equivalent to a cave man with an "Ovation". Probably use it as a comb. Maybe if I ever figure it out. I've seen postings with visual and mouth movement, but no sound. I'm worried about doing covers, too as I am aware of some losing their accounts. 'til next time, best wishes. Mike

  • @mtischler1 Hi Mike! Thanks for checking in. It's great to get comments on tunes I posted a long time ago! Let's me know there's a reason for keeping them up! You can always thank the original and post no intention on claiming it's yours. Better late than never I say! Cheers, Bunny

  • @mtischler1 Thanks so much, Mike. Do you have anything posted? I so love listening to my fellow guitarists. It was Tommy E who helped me believe I should let the guitar be my voice. If you go to my homepage (just click on forbebe) you can subscribe. I appreciate your encouragement and hope to get another tune up in the next week or two. Thakns again for the good wishes! And to you, as well!! Cheers, Bunny

  • Bunny, I am so glad to hear that you are cancer free and hope you will be a long time posting. I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and always find tremendous players who know how to use music as a language and the guitar as a voice. you certainly are one. My next time on I will subscribe. I don't see a way to do it from this page. Peace and a great future.wished. mike

  • @mtischler1 Thanks so much! I read all my comments and they are all, no matter when, appreciated! I'm 2 years cancer free now and heal a bit more every day! Thanks for the good wishes, Mike! Cheers, Bunny
