we can overcome fear by discovering the past cause of that feeling and discharge it, thus realizing that there is no reason to fear.

I have a fear of stairs and of falling in the bath. I developed this fear at the age of 42, I am now 44. I have had phobias all my life. I have overcome old fears and now have a more debilitating one. I lost my mother to als 4 years ago, i adored her. I do not believe in medication, is there any hope. My greatest fear is not of descending stairs but of ascending stairs. I fear I will lose my balance and fall.

THere are some steps you can take to get free from this fear.
Learn EFT and employ it on the fear. You can find information on this at our an other sites.
Seek to discover the original experience perhaps in your childhood years that have created this association i your mind and then do EFT for those traumatic experiences.
