Here's the perfect app to help you improve your breathing technique and let you stay underwater even longer on your next diving vacation.

Imagine seeing large, colorful fish swimming 6 meters below the surface while snorkeling at sea. Wouldn't it be great to be able to dive deeply with one big breath and take incredible pictures for your friends at home? The Apnea Trainer makes it possible! By using it to train three times a week, you can quickly double your underwater time.

This is the same training principle used by apnea divers. It's based on a yoga technique which strengthens the diaphragm muscles allowing you to fill your lungs with more oxygen and releasing more carbon dioxide while exhaling. The system is relatively simple and depends on finding the right time intervals which are provided by the program, thus letting you relax and concentrate on your breathing. This will guarantee maximum training success.
The program will also come in handy just before the actual dive since you can easily skip the "breath holding" training section. The Apnea Trainer will help you keep your whole body calm and give you the perfect preparation for those amazing, long-lasting dives.

Features:
+ Training to improve free diving time

+ Mode to calm your body before diving or snorkeling

+ Optical and Audio instructions

+ Program runs even when device is in sleep mode (saves battery life)

+ Easy to use interface

  • I downloaded this and it's a great app. I couldn't

Stay under for one minute before.

    Thank you!

  • @hkumbayo I'm a dive instructor for SSI and I found this as a VERY helpful app to recommend my students to! Thanks for posting!

  • Which variety of cell phones can run that application?? Which is the cheapest one?? Which one do you recommend??

  • I hope this comes for ipod... THX keep those vids comin'

  • @calamari81 true in a way, but it's a old yoga technique and its says breath through your nose. And it's not only for (free) diving, it's also good for general sports to feel good. Just read the reviews on iTunes. I had no idea for what would people use this app, but they are really creative and most of them like it. And as I that, it's nothing new, it's a old approved technique but you shouldn't use this technique in the water.

BTW I will never dive more than 15 meters I just love snorkeling.

  • @hkumbayo i disagree. what do you train for? freediving right? most of men use masks that cover the nose, so no breathing through the nose while diving. so, why practice that way?

my opinion: if you're into freediving. get some serious literature or catch a class and dont follow some random app without background. its not all about performance.. dont ya think? for example its about your own health too.
