No, a horse doesn't need more than hay. Plus even though you see some good grass hay in the feeder, you really don't know what else is being fed. You don't free feed grain. We've breed and raised horses for years. We feed our very well bred horses good grass hay when we can find it. Alfalfa to starve horses would be a tremendous shock to their system and cause scours which would only kill more of them. Grass hay is the most natural transition for them.

what else can I expect from someone like you you have "horse tripping" as your favorites. You guys can't really handle real rodeo so you trip a bunch of horses, damn cowards!! I see why your so defensive now you cowards get your horses cheap at these horse auctions. very sad and sick ppl

people who care for animals are saints...fantastic work

The horses at fish creek, were not starved thank you very much. we fed them grass hay and that was what we had so if you knew much about hay grass doesnt have a lot of protien in it, its just a filler. and for one they are called wild because they are wild they arent going to eat out of a feed bunk right away, watch the video again and you will see a feed bunk full of hay!!!!

Thank you Lifesavers, the Wild Horse Sanctuary, Redwing, Frontline rescue, efforts by the Humane Society, Willie Nelson, Snoop and others, Donors and volunteers of all of the Rescue and Sanctuary groups!! When you contribute to these groups, none is wasted. Thank you!

Please send what you can to Lifesavers in Lancaster, CA. They need funds to purchase more land and to feed the horses they have.

God Bless those who care about other beings.
The Fish Creek horses were being fed some dry field grass with absolutely no nutritional value at all. Nursing and pregnant mares require nutrition not filler.
I don't know what your capacity was with the Fish Creek horses, but if you had any responsibility at all your are a criminal. Did you forget the 47 carcasses that were dragged from the property before we came on the scene?
All they needed was food and space. Thank you very much.
