Yes, I pronounced it wrong I apologize I am in the medical field and had just got off work. This feather star has 2 hosts a shrimp and a lobster. I have had him over 2 months which is much longer then the average of hours to a few weeks in captivity. Please respect your tank and research heavily before investing your time into fragile creatures such as these. They require nothing less than expert care in very well established tanks.

  • fascinating creatures, it makes me sad people put them in tanks w/out knowing how to care for them letting creatures like these die is terrible. Hope it's doing well:)

  • I have two questions. What would happen if you touched it, and is conscious, or does it just "live"?

  • wow you really sound like dexter morgan.

  • You've done a magnificent job keeping it looking healthy! I'm amazed! I've read about how these are supposed to be damn near impossible to keep alive most of the time.
