I'd like to see Tim dive into his meme about "creating more value than extracting," I have a sense that this concept is too confusing for most people to get.
I'd definitely recommend everyone diving into Tim's posts on the same topic over on the O'reilly Radar...

I saw the talk this morning and then watched it again. Tim's really been calling this right for a very long time in a market that moves very quickly. Essential viewing and this will stand the test of time. I'm STILL using the core principles of Web 2.0 from 2005 for my audiences and it's still just resonating with most of them!--Matthew Holt

But Facebook IS trying to own it all. They want to be the "one ring to rule them all". Good job calling out Apple on their closed nature, but Facebook is pretty much doing the same thing, they're just sneakier about it. Maybe there are some good people there, but everything I hear about Facebook, from their support of Zynga to their bait-and-switch approach to gathering userdata, is very much "Let's be Evil". I don't trust them. I'd even go so far as to suggest Open Graph is just a decoy.
