A brothel-keeper buys a minor girl for a price anywhere between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh and earns over Rs 23 lakh in the next five to six years.
MUMBAI: Sapna's (name changed) hopes of a better life dimmed when a policewoman on a "routine vist" to the dank room in Jamuna Mansion brothel
advised the 13-year-old to stay on, assuring her that it was the safest place for her.

Having done her bit, the policewoman pocketed the 'hafta' (bribe) from the 'gharwali' (brothel-keeper) and walked out.

  • The narrator is fking dull. I know it is a sad truth but what the f* is up with f*king monotone voice. Present a story as it is, the story will move people not the f*ked up tone.

  • I think it's very painful story but perhaps nobody care about it. Thanks who made this film.

Why would rural villagers bother buying prostitutes? Agrarians and the like have to struggle to pay for living costs. Prostitution is a waste of time, money, and is simply not a luxury the very poor can afford.

However, the destitute might be taken FROM rural areas to larger cities to be used for prostitution. That is different.

But take my state for example. There are less than 1000 known child prostitution cases out of 38 million people. And most seek luxury, not basic needs.

in smaller cities and villages its still quite common, what you are referring to is the lack of a large well known red light area, which usually only exist in very large cities.

i dont know about affordability in smaller cities, but its socially unacceptable EVERYWHERE incl Mumbai. when was the last time a single male could hire sex workers occasionally w/o being ostracized by his parents, colleagues, and friends; despised by women, and w/o having his marriage prospects ruined.

  • @runtodahills

That's strange. I must have looked at someone else's profile.

Regardless, prostitution out of big cities is quite uncommon. It is extremely uncommon in my state of Kerala for multiple reasons. In places out of big cities it is usually not affordable or socially accepted. Don't mistake Mumbai and Kolkota as figureheads for the rest of India.

im not a paki, and in any case i dont see how does that has anything to do with this fact. im sure things arent too different for paki men.

  • @runtodahills

Lmfao, fucking Paki. Go back to Pakistan and get bombed by the USA predator drones. God damnit, your country is the shithole of the world!

What will Pakistan be known for in the future? Superpower? No. Just Osama bin-Laden, losing every war to India, having no economy, or just the word "terrorist".
