This was a piece my friends and I made during winter break. The whole concept was about a guy going back in the past trying to stop his brother's death by an unknown man they had previously stolen from.
We follow this story of a group of teenagers stealing from a home. The only thing they found were paintings. As they were going around town, the homeowner had noticed that his paintings were missing and then proceeded to go after the teenagers.
The homeowner crashed his car to the teenagers hoping to get back his paintings. Instead, they were hidden in an undisclosed warehouse. The homeowner takes Jill as ransom for the paintings.
As the group was waiting for the homeowner, they had discovered a poem at the back of the painting and found a hidden key within the canvass.
The homeowner arrives with Jill and so goes the exchange.
The group leaves with the clues in their head and goes for the town cemetery. There they find a briefcase full of cash and a stone hidden within a locked box. They opened the box with the key. All of the sudden, the homeowner's back requiring them not to touch the stone. He then proceeds to ask who was Timothy within the twins. Todd, one of the twins, tried to confuse the homeowner by saying that he is Timothy. In the end, the homeowner kills Todd and falls to the ground. Timothy grabs the gun and then shoots the homeowner. He wonders what the stone was for and why they weren't allowed to say it. Jill explained that it was a timetraveller stone. Timothy was convinced he could still save his twin and he vanished into the past.
(This is the un-filmed part)
Timothy waits for the homeowner in the house to no avail. He waited for years. He then realized that since he's in the past, he might as well hide the timetraveller stone. He proceeds to copy the painting the homeowner had previously owned, he puts a key to a lock box he hid the timetraveller stone with and he creates a memorial stone for his brother, Todd. He then stuffs some cash in a brief case and puts the lock box in it and buries it in Todd's memorial stone. When he came back, he noticed his side door was open and that his painting had been stolen. He realized that his group was the one who stole it. He quickly remembers part of the group headed for the parking lot so he waits there for a quick intervention. By now, he has realized that he has become the homeowner he had been looking for. His new goal now was for himself to avoid going back to the past. So, he stops the group from ever finding the key. But the group didn't have his painting. So, instead, he kidnaps Jill and proceeds to convince her that he was Timothy. At the park bridge, they had their little exchange with Jill for the painting and everything would have been fine except for when the homeowner had realized that they had discovered the key and and already headed for the cemetery. He quickly runs after them. At the cemetery, just before anyone could touch the stone, he was at his last resort. He just needed to kill his younger self so he doesn't become the homeowner. But the twins had tricked him, saying both were Timothy. He aims for his best and shoots. He kills Todd. He had realized that he killed his own brother and so he falls to the ground. The younger Timothy picks up the gun and kills his older self.
