After the cleaning of the patellar tendon has finished, the doctor then drills tiny little holes in the tendon to promote blood flow which will allow the tendon to heal.

  • Yes, I did heal. It took me about 4 months to get back to 100% in order to play college volleyball.

  • Hey Choad I have a similar problem with severe tendonitis, only mine has been going on for 5 years. So did the doctor just remove scar tissue? And also, what kind of rehabbing did you have to deal with? I play competitive basketball and would like to be back at 110% Any tips?
