All 3 are great in there own way. Nicholson had more of the comic book adaptation and did the role great. Heath Ledger's was more of a dark revamp but was still great. Mark Hamill honestly...is The Joker. No one can make him sound just sadistic as hell one second then laughing like a loon the next. perfect example is Batman Beyond movie where The Joker is taunting Batman and explaining how he warped Robins mind to make a mini Joker. If you want just bad...look at Ceasar Romaro.....from the 60s

I think Romero was also an excellent Joker in his own right. Batman was extremely campy in the 60's/70's and yet Romero was still a damn good Joker.
