  • The first farmer talks about 800-1200 gallons per year from a single tree? Not a chance. Maybe from a couple of hectares. I think he simply misspoke though with no intention to mislead.

    Jatropha is a great plant with a great future and, grown in the right regions in terms of climate and cost, can be very profitable. That's why I'm an investor in Bedford Biofuels. I think they have all the right pieces in place.
