I finished off this watermelon with my Remington 11-87 semi-auto 12 Gauge. The delay between shots was my 11-87 not properly ejecting the cheap 2 3/4 target load.

  • @lowfiwhiteguy great shotgun and it doesnt kick very much even with slugs

  • @operacaster people buy pumps because their cheaper, more reliable in case of jams and the sound of you cocking it alone will make someone shit their pant.s

  • @lowfiwhiteguy the 11-87 changed the gas pistons or whatever so you didn't have to swap out parts for the need to shoot low load shells to make it cycle. Other than that I dont believe theres that big of a difference. Get whatever one you can for cheaper, they're both amazing.

  • @lowfiwhiteguy This gun is amazing, practically a family tradition at this point. Trust me. It's perfect for almost anybody, beginner to expert.

  • @lowfiwhiteguy its alot better over the 1100 ,ive shot both.. currently got a 1187 field premier the 1187 has a one peice gas ring without the rubber 'o' ring, compared to the old two metal rings and the rubber 'o' ring........so its less prone to jams and foul ups.. it'll even cycle 24g skeet loads...

  • Hi have one of these, and this gun is great. The action is fast, you just have to keep the gas port and seal clean, and be careful of the rubber gas seal, if that breaks, the gun wont cycle.

  • i own an 11-87 and it's one of the best ive shot

  • when it comes to self defense get a pump.u can load them faster and easier and u dont really have to wory about jamming at all.and u can rack the pump and that might even scare them off

  • I've fired one of these before. Absoloutely love them.

  • does your shotgun jam often or did you only have problems on the video? i'd like to get an auto for home defense but not if they jam a lot. i guess that's why most people go with pumps, but i was wondering if you knew why it was jamming. were you using new shells or reloads? i wouldn't think jamming would be that much of a problem being it was designed a police/assault shotgun
