  • It's really nice that this fellow has created and posted these video tutorials. But, please, use a higher resolution when recording the videos, and ZOOM in to the various objects and buttons when you are talking about them so we can actually SEE what you're talking about. Most of what is shown is just a blur.

  • @RogerGarrett I didnt make these videos they came with the software and I uploaded then here.

  • Yeah... first question, how the fuck do you add a layer?!

  • @FadedRose99 I tried to figure that out too but Windows Vista and this version of the program don't play well together but on adobe photo shop iit as easy as making a new picture so I use that most of the time

  • @FadedRose99 Don't get me wrong this is a good program but doing layer I use other ones

  • thanks for the vid it helped me alot and i can learn more-clicks next tut.-

  • Your welcome I know first hand this program can be complicated almost like photoshop.

  • where can a person get the tutorial CD that is mentioned at the beginning of this video?

  • i start using this program first before i started using photoshop i still used its a great program thou & way easier

  • I didn't even think to look on youtube for any sort of tutorials regarding this software until the instructor advised us to look for tutorials for Illustrator and Photoshop. Had I known then what I know now, I could have saved myself a lot of time. I'm sure there are still some things about PI that I still don't know or could do better, but I like the things I've been able to do with it so far. Definitely recommend.

  • IMO, this was easier to learn and master than Photoshop and Illustrator. I happened upon this program after being completely frustrated with the layer-based Adobe programs and found this one to be less complicated. I've created logos and designed webpages in addition to touching up photos with it. I can't tell you how many times I've uninstalled Photoshop. With me being in school now for my multimedia degree, I'm FINALLY learning Photoshop, but this software will always be my favorite!

  • @toomyg155 ah.,.. so I would have to stick with gimp? this is like adobe photoshop though. I have... had... it now I have PhotoImpact 12. I can only use it to touch up photos then?
