Greg Thielmann is a Senior Fellow at the Arms Control Association, located in Washington, DC. Thielmann came to fame in 2003 when he quit his position as director of the Strategic, Proliferation and Military Affairs Office at the State Department's Intelligence Bureau, citing the manufacturing of intelligence concerning the Iraqi government's weapons program. He openly criticized the false information that was then used to gain support for launching the US-led invasion and occupation of Iraq. This brought an end to a 25-year career in the US foreign service officer.

Iran will want a Nuke as long as Israel has nukes. Only way to stop an arms race in mid east is to dismantle several hundreds of nukes israel is known to have.

WMD's, WMD's...oooo look the nasty Muslims are at it again! (sarcasm) If we are stupid enough to fall for this crap again we deserve fully, everything that follows. The IAEA has said, as well as US Intelligence, that Iran gave up their weapons program in 2003. As for the facility they are talking about, it will not be close to operational for another 18 months. There is NO evidence that they have restarted that weapons program. So what is really goin on here??? Why the threats against Iran??

@000deadcalm000 ..Iran has been builing a weapons program for over 30 years and they are getting very close! Look what happened when we didnt kill the Pakistani Scientist when we had a chance! They obtained Nuclear Weapons and now the country is unstable! @chino1922 Ahhh...another Zionist supporter I'm guessing. Let me just say that making a nuclear weapon is not anywhere as easy as say...baking a cake for instance. But perhaps, in your infinite wisdom, you wish to share with all your impeccable sources of information. But EVEN IF they were as far along as you claim...in order to be weapons grade it would need to be enriched to over 90% to be used for a weapon. I really don't care if Iran has their own nuclear weapons...why shouldn't they?

I really don't care if Israel & Iran nuke each other - as long as the IAEA sends me the left over plutonium for Christmas - I asked back in 1987 - when I was 7 now I am really pissed at the state of the US Postal system! Bad Joke - Victory is mine.
