  • You can always car pool.

  • Haha, I love the bits at the end.

  • I live in eastern Washington state and my only option to play in any "major" tournaments is in Seattle, a 4-5 hour drive. I've just been focusing on mtgo.

  • like your jersey. go canes

  • I was able to go to Regionals for the last 2 years (having to drive 100 miles.) Now I can't justify driving 500 miles.

  • @Sichuanbeef

I think it's because he considered a pro player already

  • In the 2009 regionals there were 31 tournaments across 26 states. 124 people were able to qualify last year. This year we have 50 tournaments where 186 people can qualify. Some states may lose out on slots, but some states never had a slot to begin with. For example, there was never a slot in New York last year, you had to go to Connecticut or New Jersey to qualify. While I'm a little upset to lose 2 slots for my state it's made up since we won't have New Yorkers coming to CT to try and qualify.

  • @Sichuanbeef Qualified Pro Tour Players are excluded from entering some events. This happens to be one of them.

  • @Sichuanbeef It's already been answered, but he can't play in them because he's already qualified for Nationals.
