Tecnohunk, I know this is an old comment but I feel the need to point out that communism (small c) does not equal Communism (the system devised and expanded upon by Marx, Engels, Lenin and others).. these Communist ideas encompassed not just economics but social and political structures as well, and are quite separate from the concept of communal sharing (which has worked quite well in hippie communes, for example).

Community. Do you mean communism? Everyone shares everything including Obama? Everyone is equal including Obama? No one has any more or less than anyone else including Obama? That would work if Obama was Jesus Christ, but he is not. He is a man with a human nature that inherently wants more for itself. Jesus was a communist, imho, he said to give away all you have! But it worked cause he was God, not human. Obama is human. Hes out to get his like any other man.

You need to go to your public library and check out Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. He's the one who really defined "community organizer." Read it, then go back and pay attention to what Obama does and says.
