SSBB Ike Cruel Brawl

This is a strategy that allowed me to get 11 KOs in Cruel Brawl and unlock the Red Alloy trophy (5 KOs) and Liquid Snake sticker (10 KOs) in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

MAKE SURE YOU LAND AFTER 5 GRABS OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GRAB THE EDGE AND YOU WILL JUST FALL AND DIE AFTER USING AETHER!!

In the beginning of the match, run to the edge, jump off, and grab the edge. Jump off away from the stage, and use Ike's Up+B move (Aether). The Alloys will start to follow you once you start your attack, and you can maybe get a kill or two this way. But what you're really trying to do is spike them with the second part of Aether, which happens after Ike grabs his sword in midair. This isn't really a spike or meteor smash, but the recovery of the Alloys in Cruel Brawl is absolutely terrible, so they'll usually die from this (even the Green Alloy).

@nignog9097 Nintendo either made the mode so people could discover cheap tricks, or they were f***ing retarded and though being hit one time and being ko'd is really fun, especailly when your enemies need to be at near 100% to do the same to them.

@Diablon its aether not ether. Aether is my favourite move ike posses other than counter and ether is an item in pokemon that restores one of your pokemons moves pp up by 10.

Ike can't grab the ledge more than 5 times when using Ether, that's why you died at the end.. I don't think he's is a good character for Cruel Brawl for this reason :/

You have to touch the ground every 5 Ether, maybe a ledge attack or a well spaced Fair/Nair would work better than just Ether-ing on the stage..
