4-A-Side Short Football invented by Jim Sweeney/John Robinson and Launched in Foleshill, Coventry in July 1995.
Short Football with its own unique logo, portable arena with built-in-goals, holdall bag, scoring system, rules and regulations was only made possible through the MAGNIFICENT COMMUNITY Support/Sponsorship of the Coventry Council, Coventry City FC, Coventry Evening Telegraph, Heart of England, Higgs Trust, and local companies Jaguar Cars, Rolls Royce, Peugeot, Parkridge Holdings, Cassidy Group, Anglian Windows, Kilrot, Ricoh UK, Andy Blair Sports and numerous smaller businesses.
Over the past 16 years our 4-A-Side Short Football sessions/competitions/exhibitions have been attened by over 3000 Coventry Inner-City children.
