Ps3 Disc Not Loading- Explaining Problem/Solution

*NOTICE*: For all the people asking about their game icons spinning and no game showing up, but u have some other disks that work, there are 3 solutions: ur disk doesnt work or is broken, ur hard drive file system is corrupted and needs to be restored (recovery mode), or u simply need a new laser! Theres not much more 2 it, ppl.

So if the disc doesnt read its a laser problem. u can also try and clean ur laser by opening up the blue ray drive. make sure u take out the game before hand.

If u guys want to know which laser works with ur ps3, check out my other vid that shows u how to find it out. IT IS VERY HELPFUL if this is ur first time opening the blue ray drive or changing the laser and u want to be 100% sure

@MRNiceATbeingBad This happened to my system sometime after an network update. Was also AROUND the time just before OR during when Playstation network was hacked. I believe RIGHT before the network was hacked AND down for a while that the "Hacker(s)/Microsoft/X box)" corrupted the latest PSNetwork update and THUS F**KED A LOT OF PS3s! Now try and convince Playstation that this is what happened and get them to cover the cost of the repair LOL GOOD LUCK! NOT buying a new PS3! I have the OG hahaa

Just a few quick words bout my PS3. 2007-08, 80GB, Seem like slow, systematic breakdown. Stopped playing BluRay first. Got to watch one DVD after BR failure. Stopped playing DVDs and then tried games and NOTHING. Error msg says "corrupt driver" or something. Tried the restore. Nothing. Next, I'm cleaning the lens. If that = Fail then I'm doin a HARD reset.

Guys the best thing to do Is to call Sony and ask them what happened this happened to me and the reason for that Is it's too old call Sony and ask ten it's the right thing to do I have to pay 170 to fix it
