Pokemon Heart Gold - Rival Battle #3

Status of my team so far: Weepinbell Lv21, Quagsire Lv21, Pidgeotto Lv22, Quilava Lv22, Raticate Lv22, Flaaffy Lv22

I reach Ecruteak City and before I reach the Gym Leader, I head to the Burned Tower in which we encounter Eusine. For those who play Pokemon Crystal that came out in 2001, he's a guy that is after the legendary pokemon Suicune just like in the Pokemon anime and special involving Raikou. After talking with him, we find our rival Brad who is after the legendary Pokemon in hopes of getting stronger so we therefore battle.

He has a Gastly Lv20, Zubat Lv20, Magnemite Lv18 and a Croconaw Lv22. His last Pokemon depend on the starter you chose at the beginning though.

He's got a Magnemite this time so you can easily take it down with Ground-type moves. As for his other Pokemon, Gastly and Zubat can be taken down with Psychic-type attacks while the last one can depend so be prepared.

Afterwards, the rival talks smack and heads off giving you free reign to check out the rest of the Burned Tower. Stay tuned for the gym battle with Morty is coming up.

why would you teach a horribly weak HM move to one of your strongest pokemon leave that to HM slaves

@MegamanNG well why would you teach cut to weepinbel when hes strong you dont want to teach it to him because it only has 50base power you want to teach him grass moves like sunnyday solarbeam. etc

South of ekruteak at night on the old versions, I would run in to shiny hoothoots a lot. I wonder if it's the same on this.
