you said that web2.0 "doesnt mean anything", but if you compare 1.0 (just text and hyperlinks) with 2.0 (dynamic: php, databased, social, etc.), then there's a good difference.
anyway 3.0 is supposed to be the "smart web" that works more together. I believe this will start with Html5 and beyond

Ok either computer scientists want to be frustratingly confusing or...
You talk about semantically annotated databases but all I see is music and video files presented via a (very good) different UI. Media players do this well tho.
So either this is a proof of concept, or the behind the scenes is where its at, or I totally don't understand.
