.: Im sorry youtube blocked the song and i had to audio swap. The original song was "the sound of white" by MIssy Higgins:.
Isabelle Broadhead died at the age of 3 because she was sitting in a car seat that wasnt suitable for her age. Belle's only injury was an abdominal injury caused by her adult belt.

Her parents begun a caimpaign to have the NSW legislation changed so that all children up to the age of five be placed only in seats that have a six point harness. No child under five should ever use an adult seat belt.

Please watch the video to learn more.

By her mother :
"I miss you angel girl and I cherish the fact that you were mine. I love you to Pluto and back."

  • @LexisTaylor321 it also depends where you live. In Canada, children up to 100-110 pounds have to be in booster type seats. After that, they are able to use an adult seat belt. I think it also depends on height here too. I think it's just under 5 feet to still be in booster chairs. Like, I should technically be in a booster seat since I fall within the height and weight range for one. But I'm adult, so it's different. Before the ages of 3-4, kids have to still sit in 5 point harness seats.

  • She look so much like my 1 year old daughter. I am so, so sorry for the family's loss. She is beautiful. Thank you for sharing the message of her loss and the lessons to be learned.

  • i am 11 and i am not using a car seat but when u are younger you should i already sit in the front of the car so i am not sitting in a car seat

  • Well at least you relised the problem but it was too late poor Isabelle

  • To think my dad sometimes let my 4 and6 year old brother go with out seat belts.

  • So very sad :-(

  • i keep imagining that it could of been my baby girl...i cant imagine having to go through this. THankyou for putting the video up....it helps a ton of moms like me. I am sorry for your loss...thankyou again!!!!

  • @luvbeingluvd I am like you, My 4 year old daughter is ranges from 45-48 lbs depending on the day, she is not "fat" jsut solid and she to is Begging to be turned back to ERF, I would if I could afford a seat that RFs to 50lbs but I cant, but she is in the Graco Natulis witch 5 bpoint harnesses to 65lbs and boosters too 100lbs.

I am going to keep my 6 month old ERF to at leat 35 or 40 lbs depending on the carseat I can get for her. Right now i am looking at the myride 65. she only weighs 13lbs.

  • She was gorgeous! so sorry for your loss!!

  • This story literally had me sobbing uncontrollably, which is something I haven't done in probably 10 years. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. My wife is in charge of the summer safety campaign for the US Air Force, and we will be pushing this video down to our safety officers for use in their briefings.
